With its cool white walls, squared lines and large decorative pieces, it has a bit of an art gallery feel to the place. Blu Pols also has wonderfully huge front windows opening on to Greville St, one of Melbourne's best people-watching and shopping drags.

The food is tasty and beautifully presented, if a little pricier than most, with the brunch menu a winner. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the salads are enormous. There is an interesting bar up on the mezzanine level ( you've got to love Victoria's licensing laws!) , and a few more tables as well.
