The Golden Way Drive: A drive that travels through the heart of sheep and wheat farming areas, to Kalgoorlie. Towns covered on the route include Cunderdin, Tammin, Kellerberrin, Merredin and Southern Cross. Many of the towns were established in the 1880's to service the many gold prospectors travelling to Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie.

Boorabbin National Park: Covering an area of 26 000 hectares, stretching for 20 km on each side of the Great Western Highway between Southern Cross and Coolgardie. It is rolling country covered in the typical heathland of the sandplains east of the wheatbelt. Many native plants can be found in the area especially in spring when wildflowers are blooming.

The Goldfields Exhibition: Housed in the same building as the tourist bureau, it has a fascinating display of goldfields memorabilia and a film show of the early goldfields to present. A educational and interesting display.

Hannan's North Tourist Mine: Take a tour around the drives and crosscuts of the mine with an ex-miner. There is a lift cage that takes you down into the earth. The tour includes an audio-visual presentation and gold pouring. A good way to discover for your self a day in the life of a miner.

Golden Mile Loopline: Catch the 'Rattler', a tourist train complete with commentary, which makes an hour - long trip from Boulder Railway Station passing the old mining works.

Museum of the Goldfields: An impressive mine headframe marks the entrance to the museum which has a wide range of exhibits including an underground gold vault and historic photographs. The narrowest hotel in Australia, the British Arms Hotel is part of the museum.

Hainault Gold Mine: One of the major mines on the Golden mile in 1910 and produced 200 kilograms of gold. It closed in 1968 and five years later was restored as a tourist attraction and an opportunity to see an underground goldmine in safety.
