Getting Around

Free Clipper Buses circle the city centre at 10 minute intervals. Transperth Buses run daily with reduced services on weekends and public holidays. The two main terminals in the city are the City Busport in Mounts Bay Road (for southern services) and Wellington Street Bus Station (for northern services). The main services operate from the city, ferry wharf and railway station.Trains from Perth serve Fremantle, Joondalup, Midland and Armadale.Ferries operate to the zoo at South Perth and there are also sightseeing cruises with full commentary.A Transperth ticket can be used on all modes of transport. These tickets are available from Transperth Information Centres and Newpower agents.Meter-operated taxi's can be found at transport terminals, taxi ranks and hotels or they can be hailed in the streets.

How To Get There

Perth International Terminal is located 20 kilometre east of the city and is well serviced by all international airlines. Perth Domestic is located 11 kilometre east of the city and Qantas and Ansett have daily services to and from Perth to other state capitals. Passengers can also travel from Adelaide or Sydney on the Indian Pacific. Perth is also well serviced by Greyhound, Westrail and McCafferty's operating to and from Perth to major cities and regional destinations.
