The Abbey Museum: Located in Caboolture, this world social history museum with a monastic curatorship has a ollection which has previously been housed in London, Cyprus, Egypt and Sri Lanka before making its home in Australia.

Glass House Mountains: A group of 13 volcanic peaks that dominate the landscape of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Four distinctively shaped mountains - Beerwah, Tibrogargan, Ngungun and Coonowrin are protected in separate national parks. Bushwalking, rockclimbing and picnicking are popular activities for visitors to these mountains.

Underwater World: On the wharf at Mooloolaba, it is the largest oceanarium in the southern hemisphere. There are performing seal shows and a transparent tunnel that takes you underneath the oceanarium. The wharf development has shops, eateries, a tavern and marina.

Conondale National Park: Split into two sections, encompassing wet eucalypt and sub-tropical rainforests, this park forms the core of the scenic Conondale Range. The park is undeveloped and suitable only for experienced bushwalkers. Camping, picnic and bushwalking areas are available in the adjacent State forest park.

Shopping: The diversity of shopping on the Sunshine Coast is an attraction in itself. Choose from the boutique shops in Hastings Street, Noosa and Mooloolaba, art and craft centres in the Blackall Range and Eumundi, or the large shopping complexes throughout the region. Every shopping need is catered for on the Sunshine Coast.

Coola tours: An exciting and breathtaking 4WD tour through coloured sands, Rainbow beach and Double Island Point. Cruise through the Everglades as an added bonus. At approx. $80 per person, this tour departs daily and is a must if your after a tour with scenery and a bit of adventure.
