Noosa, nestled at the northern end of Queensland's subtropical Sunshine Coast, combines the charm of a seaside holiday village with the sophistication of an international destination. The French Quarter is located on famous Hastings Street - a stylish boulevard of boutiques, art galleries and alfresco eateries. It is steps away from the protected shores and tranquil blue waters of Laguna Bay and Main Beach. Two minutes away, the Noosa National Park has picturesque coves and bays plus a network of walking trails through 477 hectares of unspoilt heathland and high cliffs, opening to spectacular panoramic seascapes. The climate is holiday-perfect all year. The water temperature remains constant - ideal for swimming all year round.Local architects extended the romantic imagery of the European-style streetscapes already emerging in Noosa to create the Resort. The complex is a mixture of terracotta roof tiles, stucco walls, shutters, sun-patterned slats and corrugated iron awnings. The central
lagoon-style pool, surrounded by the lush green of the tropically landscaped gardens, is an integral part of the design concept. The first class facilities make the French Quarter an international-style resort and Noosa's newest and most stylish. Ansett has awarded the resort a five star rating, whilst AAA has awarded it four and a half stars.
The French Quarter Resort features 119 one and two bedroom suites of an international standard. Most suites overlook the lagoon-style pools and spa. Some in the North Quarter have views over Hastings Street. The one-bedroom suites sleep two guests; the two-bedroom suites accommodate four. In addition all suites have a sofa-bed and a luxurious spa bath. Each air-conditioned suite is fully self-contained with cooking and laundry facilities, including microwave, hotplates, refrigerator, washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. Other in-suite facilities include 24-hour in-suite movies, and STD/IDD direct dial telephones, Housekeeping provides a daily service.
The Hotel has Concierge and porterage, guest laundry, tour desk and pool attendants. Room service and pool service is available from Tangos, the Resort's famous international Restaurant and Bar, which combines popular classic fare with fresh, original and thoroughly modern "cuisine of the sun". Lagoon-style pool and spas, childrens wading pool, beautician and masseuse. The Resort's Activities Manager leads National Park walks.
The Hospitality Lounge area is available for early arrivals and late departures.
