The accommodation is of two types: Boutique hotel - Fourteen individually decorated rooms in the main hotel have varying configurations and are available in three ranges Standard rooms, Deluxe room with a shower or double bath and Executive room with a spa and open fireplace

The Stables Cottage Apartments - The Stables located in the grounds has 4 cottage apartments, to accommodate larger parties.
Two cottages have 2 queen size beds plus one single bed and a kitchen and two cottages have one queen size bed plus two single
beds.

Facilities and atmosphere: In addition to the acclaimed restaurant featuring local Tasmanian fare with resident and guest chefs, some of the enjoyable aspects of Franklin Manor include descending the old underground cellar to select your wine from the excellent range of Tasmanian and Australian vintages, the well stocked Huon Pine bar with its honour system (plus cocktail recipe book and cocktail shaker to ensure it really feels like home). The Guest lounge is a most welcoming spot to sit (fire lit by night, sunny by day) with its plump sofas, and fresh flower arrangements. It offers a very congenial place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and coffee and possibly a pleasant conversation with fellow travellers after dinner. Most travellers seem to gravitate towards its cheery hospitality.

Guests can also avail themselves of a therapeutic massage in their own room by Mukta Summers, who operates Strahan Massage and is qualified in therapeutic massage and Reiki level 11.

Peaceful gardens surround the Manor, with many century old trees including some magnificent rhododendrons imported from China in 1890. A leisurely morning or afternoon tea on the verandah overlooking the gardens with the sound of the birds is a refreshing treat.
