Heritage Gateway Hotel
The Heritage Gateway Hotel offers 84 superior hotel rooms and 6 two bedroom apartments with kitchens. The Hotel also has The Four Seasons Restaurant and Bar, Hunters Haven Cocktail Lounge, a Honeymoon Suite with spa bath, Hunting and Fishing guides are available, as well as commercial glider flights.Omarama is situated on the major crossroads in the McKenzie Basin. From Omarama, Mt Cook itself is just a comfortable drive away. Queenstown and Wanaka can be reached via the Lindis Pass. Dunedin can be reached via the Waitaki Valley. The roads are excellent and very rarely ever closed, even in mid-winter.
