Located at the top of the South Island of New Zealand above the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach and on the doorstep to the popular Abel Tasman National Park, Kimi Ora is nestled in 12 hectares of hillside tranquil native bush with exclusive sea views. Wake up to the beautiful sounds of Tuis and Bellbirds. Spend your day at our Health Spa and pool facilities or stroll along the beautiful Kaiteriteri Beach. Sea kayaking and paragliding are available nearby as is the scenic Abel Tasman trail.

Kimi Ora means 'Seek Health' in Maori, and it is here you'll find it. All of our vegetables are grown in on-site organic gardens, and locally-produced organic beers and wines are available. Join us for a meal in our predominantly organic vegetarian restaurant.

Our new Health Spa is Another picture of the hotel based on European style therapies such as hot moor/mud packs, fango, Kneipp hydrotherapy, hydroelectrical bath, underwater massage, oxygen therapy and also offers a range of body wraps, scrubs and massages. The newly built heated indoor pool connects to the solar heated outdoor pool by a swim channel and is equipped with a counter stream swim unit and massage jets. Relax and enjoy our sauna, steam room and spa pool.

Location & Transport

Kimi Ora is just an hour's drive from Nelson, the sunshine capital of New Zealand, or three hours from the Picton ferry. Our courtesy car can meet you at Motueka Airport, Motueka Bus terminal, Cook Corner or the bus stop in Kaiteriteri.

There is regular transport service from Nelson. We are only 15 minutes drive from the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. You can also take the launch into the park via Kaiteriteri Beach. Please ask at the office if you need any information. We'll do our best to help you enjoy any of the attractions in the region.
