Kingsgate Hotel Te Anau is located in Te Anau, the gateway to the Fjordland National Park and Milford Sound, on the shores of Lake Te Anau. The hotel is an easy walk to the marina where you can catch the launch to visit the Glow Worm caves. Guests can also choose from a wide variety of recreational activities such as golf, fishing, sailing, horse riding, sailing and helicopter scenic flights. There is an a la carte restaurant specialising in local delicacies such as venison and crayfish and a coffee shop.
From our restaurant and cocktail bar, and from many of our 105 rooms, guests never tire of views across the huge expanse of Lake Te Anau, New Zealand's second largest lake, to the rugged splendour of the Kepler Mountains and the brooding bush-clad Murchison Range.
