The complex opened in 1993, being built to a high quality standard. We have nineteen units situated on the water front in Kaikoura, very centrally located to the town centre. Visitor and Information Centre and booking officers associated with whale watching and dolphin swimming.
The complex offers three accommodation options including 12 studio units - each with a double and single bed, kitchen facilities and private bathroom, 4 luxury units - each with a king size bed, two person spa, kitchen facilities and lovely views, and 3 two bedroom apartments - each with two separate bedrooms, that can sleep up to 6 persons in spacious comfort. The unit also has full kitchen facilities, 1 large and 1 small bathroom and balconies.
The units are very well appointed. Kitchens in the studio and luxury units have a small ceramic cooktop and microwave, while the family apartments have a full size stove. All beds have electric mattresses and all the bathrooms have hairdryers and heated towel rails. Each unit has direct dial telephone, remote control television with accass to the in-house video and the audio systems. The luxury units have individual video players. All rooms have mini-bars.
We have designated smoking and non-smoking rooms.
Our on-sight restaurants has a seating capacity of 70 persons, plus a fully licenced bar. The restaurant offers an extensive menu of New Zealand Cuisine, including fresh locally fished crayfish.
Guest laundry facilities are available and we have adequate off-street parking. We are happy to arrange bookings for local attractions and activities.
