This tour is designed for travellers aged between 18 and 39 and eager to get out there and make friends, explore new destinations and have the time of their lives. Adventures travellers are also from all over the globe and and bring a fantastic 'richness' to the experience as they share their t with each other whilst on tour. Again a sense of adventure unites these travellers who are keen to experience different cultures, meet locals and crams as much action and adventure into their holiday as possible.

DAY 1: Sydney to Myall Lakes

We depart Sydney via the Harbour Bridge and head to the Hunter Valley for a lunch break and some wine tasting before travelling further north to Myall Lakes. On arrival we hit the water in kayaks before returning to watch the sunset and a bbq dinner.

DAY 2: Myall Lakes to Byron Bay

We travel through some picturesque regions along the East Coast to Byron Bay today. Renowned for its surfing beaches, beautiful rainforests and eclectic lifestyle, you'll soon get into the swing of things! After checking into our accommodation you're free to explore this coastal town to see what all the fuss is about!

DAY 3: Byron Bay

A full day ahead to enjoy what Byron Bay has to offer. Renowned for its great surf beaches and counter culture, we have plenty of optional activities here to keep us busy. Try a surfing lesson*, go diving* sea kayaking* or just chill out on the beach. It's even possible that you may see some dolphins or whales as they pass by. Tonight, dinner is “Connections Style” with plenty of time to relax.

DAY 4: Byron Bay to Gold Coast

Our short journey today takes us inland via Murwillumbah and across the state border beside Lamington National Park, where we stop at the “Natural Arch”. We then travel through the Numinbah Valley to Surfers Paradise. This region is one of Australia's most popular holiday destinations with its great climate, famous surf beaches, extreme adventure activities and well known Theme Parks.

DAY 5: Gold Coast to Fraser Island

A short drive this morning to Queensland's capital city, Brisbane where we have some time for sightseeing. Heading further north we travel on to Hervey Bay. Here we board our ferry to Fraser Island and our Wilderness Lodge accommodation.

DAY 6: Fraser Island

Fraser Island – Great Sandy National Park is World Heritage Listed and is the world's largest sand island. The best way to see this magnificent national park is on our optional 4-wheel drive tour, taking us along the unspoilt surf beaches and to pristine inland freshwater lakes that are ideal for swimming.

DAY 7: Fraser Island to Rockhampton

Today we board our ferry and continue our journey northwards through sugar cane country to Rockhampton and possibly a visit to a real Aussie themed pub.

DAY 8: Rockhampton to Whitsundays

If there's a heaven on earth, it's definitely in the Whitsundays so prepare to enjoy! And the best way to experience this gorgeous region is onboard a boat – your home for the next 2 nights! You'll be watching the sunset over the water tonight from the heart of paradise. (For any landlubbers, there is an option to stay in Airlie Beach*) NB: Landlubbers Option Days 8 & 9* If you're certain you can't stay onboard for 2 nights, you do have the option to stay on the mainland and enjoy Airlie Beach at Club Crocodile Resort. You'll have the chance to experience a day cruise to Whitehaven Beach onboard Camira – otherwise you can hang with locals at the gorgeous man-made lagoon and make the most of this idyllic location. DAYS 9 & 10: Whitsundays

Make the most of sailing the islands of the Whitsundays on your own boat. Snorkel over island reefs, visit golden sandy beaches and anchor in sheltered coves. At night chill out on deck and watch the starry skies. (Bx2, Lx2, Dx2)

DAY 11: Whitsundays to Undara Volcanic National Park

We head further north today through Townsville and west for a taste of the outback. We arrive at Undara and check out this idyllic natural setting - enjoy a sunset tour and kick back around the campfire after sunset.

DAY 12: Undara to Cairns

This morning after a bush breakfast you can do one of the many bush walks before we return to the coast and onto Cairns.

DAYS 13 & 14: Cairns

There's heaps to see and do in tropical Cairns. On the evening on day 13 visit Tjapukai By Night for a unique indigenous dinner/show experience. The next morning explore the Tropical Rainforest and Kuranda via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. This is a pretty spectacular way to spend another amazing day before we bid farewell to Queensland. (Bx2, D)

DAY 15: Cairns to Alice Springs

Today you make your own way to Alice Springs - the heart of Australia's Red Centre - where you'll meet your 'Territory' crew. The day is yours free to explore at your own pace. At sunset, check out the Rock Wallabies that live amongst the rocks, as they come out to feed. (note internal flight not included in tour price)

DAY 16: Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Campground

We travel south on our way to Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, home of mighty Uluru (Ayers Rock). After meeting those passengers joining the tour at Ayers Rock Airport, we visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Next we visit the Sunset Viewing area and witness the fascinating change of colour of Uluru as an outback sun sets.

DAY 17: Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon

This morning enjoy sunrise at Uluru. You'll have the chance to do the base walk plus have some time to visit the Cultural Centre before heading to our private camp at Kings Creek Station.

DAYS 18 & 19: Kings Creek to Alice Springs

Today we climb the track that takes us above the cliffs of Kings Canyon. We return to Kings Creek Station for lunch before travelling back to Alice Springs. Day 19 you're free to explore Alice Springs at your leisure. (Bx2, L)

DAY 20: Alice Springs to Darwin

Today you make your own way to Darwin. Tonight enjoy dinner in downtown Darwin. (note Internal flight not included in tour price)

DAY 21: Darwin to Kakadu

We head off for a croc spotting tour to start the day and then make our way to Ubirr Rock. Here we view classic Aboriginal Rock Art and spectacular views. At the end of the day we bed down in our private campsite in Kakadu.

DAY 22: Kakadu to Katherine

Today we enjoy the natural attractions within Kakadu, dependent on the weather. We stop at Edith Falls for a swim before travelling onto out camp at Katherine.

DAY 23: Katherine to Mt Bundy

Today we explore Nitmiluk National Park for a choice of a cruise or canoeing adventure on Katherine Gorge. After a picnic lunch in the park we head to our camp at Mt Bundy Station.

DAY 24: Mt Bundy to Darwin via Litchfield

Today we explore gorgeous Litchfield National Park famous for clear waterfalls and safe swimmiing. We have plenty of time here to enjoy this natural attraction before heading back to Darwin.

There's no group activities planned today so you can sleep in and relax after 25 action packed days travelling with a group of new friends.
