Journey to the remote coastal wilderness area of Cape Leveque and experience local Aboriginal communities enroute.

Our day journeying along rugged road terrain is broken up with stops to explore cultural and historical aspects of the peninsular, with our first break at Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community. Featuring a church built in 1918 by the Pallotine Monks, it provides an insight into the "mission days" history of the Kimberley. Continuing north to Cape Leveque, we break for two hours for lunch and free time to swim and relax.

On our afternoon return trip we call into Lombadina Aboriginal Commuinity for a tour off the community and view the community church considered a bush architecture masterpiece. Subject to availability, we are hosted by a community member who povides an insight into Aboriginal lifestyle and a visit to the community craft store to purchase handcrafts made from ebony, trochus and pearl shell. Return trip hom arives in Broome approximately 8.30pm.

4WD/Fly Cape Leveque Adventure (P23+F)

Take in the Dampier Peninsular scenery from the air, combine a 1 hour morning or afternoon flight to or from Cape Leveque with our 4WD tour by road. The 4WD road leg visits Beagle Bay Aboriginal Community on the way up to Cape Leveque and Lombadina Aboriginal Community on the return leg to Broome. Join up with our 4WD day tour group for lunch and free time for a swim at the stunning coastal wilderness of Cape Leveque.
