4 Day Melbourne - Adelaide via Great Ocean Road, Grampians and the Coorong
Day 1
We begin the day with a city tour of Melbourne. We then depart Melbourne heading to the beautiful coastline passing through Geelong. We travel along the cliff tops of the Great Ocean Road via Lorne. We then travel along cool mountain streams to Skenes Creek Lodge.
Overnight: Skenes Creek Lodge, Apollo Bay (DBB)
Day 2
We depart Skenes Creek Lodge after breakfast. We travel along cool mountain streams with tall Mountain Ash and Beech Forest and lush Rainforest of the Ottway Ranges. After our lunch stop we travel to Port Campbell National Park where time and the powerful southern ocean have created spectacular rock formations. We then wind along through Warnambool to Tower Hill National Park, from where we get one of the best close encounters with koalas and other native wildlife in Australia. After leaving this unique area we head north to Dunkeld, then into the hidden corners of the Grampians to arrive for our overnight stop at Halls Gap.

Day 3
We leave the Ranges along to Grampians National Park. We leave Victoria via Cavendish and then travel to Mt Gambier with its beautiful crater lakes that have the most unusual blue lake that changes colour twice a year. Leaving Mt Gambier we track through farmland and forest that are dense pine along to the coast through Beachport, then North to Robe and our overnight stop.

Day 4
We travel along the coastline to Kingston (40 km) another famous lobster fishing town and fishing port, arriving at 8.45am. From here we travel around Laccpede Bay to the Coorong National Park a unique coastal wetland from which once again our 4WD vehicles are able for us to explore much more. We will enjoy a coffee break at the National Park at 10am - 10.20am before enjoying much more birdlife and coastal serenity of this National Park. Heading further north we shall visit Lake Alexandrina at the mouth of Australia's longest river system, the Murray (200km) arriving at Wellington at 12.30pm for a 1-hour lunch break. During the afternoon we travel through the Adelaide Hills visiting some wineries and scenic lookout before arriving in Adelaide approximately at 5pm to conclude our memorable journey.
