Your adventure begins 1.5 hours before dawn, the the balloons being inflated as the sun lights up the MacDonnel Ranges.
Whilst floating gently in the air you will appreciate the vast remoteness, scenery and wildlife of the Australian Outback. Wildlife, particularly big red kangaroos are seen nearly every day as your balloon crosses spinifex grasses, mulga scrub and cattle stations.

The tour includes return transfers from any accommodation in Alice Springs, and a traditional 4 course chicken and champagne breakfast.

30 minute Early Morning Balloon Flight with Breakfast and Dreamtime Tour:
After a wonderful morning of ballooning and delicious gourmet breakfast, (see 30 or 60 minute Early Morning Balloon Flight above) Outback Ballooning will transfer passengers to Rod Steinert Dreamtime in the bush. On this tour the Aboriginal people of Walpiri Tribe will take you on a journey into their lifestyle and beliefs. A demonstration of boomerang and spear throwing, Aboriginal hunting techniques, and a decorated Corroboree dance is performed. There will be opportunity to sample local bush tucker such as witchetty grub and the bush coconut. Morning tea of Billy tea and coffee is provided. Transfers back to client's accommodation are included. The approximate return time is 11:30am. Photography welcome, no video or sound equipment.

30 Minute Early Morning Balloon Flight, with Breakfast and Desert Park Package
After a wonderful morning of ballooning and delicious gourmet breakfast, (see 30 or 60 minute Early Morning Balloon Flight above) At approximately 9:30am, Outback Ballooning will transfer passengers to the Alice Springs Desert Park about 10 minutes drive from the town centre. Clients will be given a voucher to gain access into the Desert Park. At this time visitors will be given a Park map, and a departure timetable for transfers back to visitors accommodation. Buses leave frequently and are $AUD5.00 (Subject to change without notice.) The Park is open until 6pm daily. Take the opportunity to explore the Desert Rivers, sand country, woodland habitats and the nocturnal house. It is best to accommodate at least fours hours in the Alice Springs Desert Park.
