Broome Town Tour with Cable Beach 4WD & Optional Sunset Cruise or Camel Ride
Take in the highlights of Broome with the option to finish the tour with a sunset camel ride or four wheel drive down onto Cable Beach.
Starting in Chinatown we learn of Broome's fascinating heritage and Pearl industry history. Find out about Broome's "One Day War", drive through Old Broome passing old Pearling Masters homes and Town Beach. We visit the Port, base for many of todays Pearling vessels, pass by Broome's Race Course to Gantheaume Point where we learn of Broome's significance as an archeological site for dinosaur research and hear the story of Anastasia's Pool.
From here we venture down on to Cable Beach for a 4WD beach drive to take our vantage point for a classic Broome sunset.
On arrival at Cable Beach you have the option to join a famous sunset camel ride (see fare P20+R). Relax into the casual rocking motion aboard a camel as you watch the sun disappear over the ocean.
Those not taking the camel ride can stroll the massive stretch of Cable Beach or cool off with a swim. Relax into the setting sun enjoying nibbles and refreshments. Campstools are provided and BYO welcome. Afterward, you may like to enjoy a cocktail or dinner at one of the nearby cafes.
