Day 1. Purnululu, Echidna Chasm, Sunset Departing Kununurra, we travel to Purnululu National Park - an awesome and spectacular wilderness that is home to the Bungle Bungle Range. Explore the northern part of the massif and hike into Echidna Chasm, famous for its mysterious cleft in the rock. Proceed to our overnight safari camp for a delicious homestyle feast, a great reward after a full day. Camp: Purnululu Safari Camp, in the heart of this World Heritage wilderness. Enjoy the comfort of our permanent tents. (Canvas tents, bedding and towel provided, shared facilities.)

Day 2. Bungle Bungle Domes, Cathedral Gorge We rise early and drive to the southern side of the Bungle Bungle massif. Explore Cathedral Gorge and walk along the dry bed of Piccaninny Creek. This is the best way to inspect the domes up close and your guide will bring the natural history of the park to life. Learn about the Aboriginal people's rich knowledge of the area and the cultural significance of the park. There is time for an optional helicopter flight (own expense). Later, board a light aircraft and fly over the striped beehive domes to Kununurra (flight included).
Tour concludes on arrival, approximately 5.00 p.m.
