Journey along the "Bloomfield Track" to Emmagen Creek as your guide explains the history of the area and why conservationists battles to prevent the building of this controversial road. It truly is a magnificent Wilderness region which is now World Heritage Listed to protect the virgin forests for future generations. AT Cape Tribulation we have time to stroll on the beach, where rainforests meets the reef.

Visit the Daintree Environmental Centre - a window into this primeval forest. Here in a setting high up in the treetops, you will see the most outstanding displays and images of rainforest in Australia. Savour the afternoon tea in the verandah of this unique building. A qualified botanist will guide you on a magical experience into the rainforest. Reach the upper levels of the rainforest easily via the unique Canopy Tower. The tower has been specially designed to ensure minimal impact on the environment whilst allowing access to all levels of the rainforest - the views are unparalleled. Cross back over the crocodile infested waters of the Daintree River by cable driven ferry for the return journey to Cairns.
