Condor (Maxi X Racer)
Regardless of your choice of yacht from ProSail's Maxi fleet you will be taken on an unforgettable 3 day and 2 night sailing adventure. You can participate in sailing, go snorkelling over coral reefs, scuba diving (optional), swimming, bush walking and visit the icons of the Whitsunday's such as Whitehaven Beach (weather permitting). Maxi yachts encourage action and are geared towards guests seeking an exciting and truly unique experience.
A true Maxi was designed and built purely as a racing machine, they cost millions of dollars and Maxi yachts 70 ft and over in length.
Condor is perhaps the most famous Maxi yacht in history, having won every major ocean race in the world twice!
Condor is the only yacht to have achieved this distinction. These races included such highlights as the Sydney to Hobart, Fastnet, Bermuda Cup, World Maxi Championship, Porto Cervo maxi Series Maxi series and Antigua Race Week just to name a few. Condor is 81 ft and 6 inches in length, was designed by Ron Holland and built in Penryn , Conwall in the United Kingdom.
