Discover the unspoilt and remote wilderness of Doubtful Sound during this unique overnight cruise. Bottlenose dolphins frequently ride our bow waves, fur seals bask on the Nee Islets and rare penguins can often be observed. We'll cruise throughout the fiord and there's plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Snorkel in shallow waters (weather dependent), kayak around the shoreline or wander along a deserted beach - the choice is yours. As the shadows lengthen we'll drop anchor at a favourite mooring and share stories of the days adventure.

The Doubtful Sound overnight cruise offers an exciting and different dinner, bed & breakfast experience on board the Kay Dee II, with passenger numbers limited to 8 people. Cruise across picturesque Lake Manapouri in a Fiordland Travel vessel and then travel by coach over the Wilmot Pass to Doubtful Sound. During the journey there is time to examine alpine plant life and to view the spectacular scenery.
Once at Doubtful Sound, visitors board Fiordland Travel's vessel, the Kay Dee II for a cruise of Doubtful Sound. While on board there is time for wildlife spotting (dolphin, penguin and seal encounters are likely), kayaking, snorkelling, stabi-craft cruising and bush walking (note: activities are weather dependent).
Anchorage overnight varies but will be in an idyllic setting. An informative and in-depth commentary is provided on board by the friendly two person crew.

Bring comfortable shoes/boats, waterproof jacket, wollen sweater/fleece jacket, change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, swimwear (optional), camera and lots of film.
