Follows Stuart and Arnhem Highways. We pass the Marrakai Plains, Adelaide, Mary and Wildman River areas into Kakadu National Park. Cross the South Alligator River and explore the World Heritage area of Ubirr Rock where we climb up though the ancient Aboriginal Rock Art Galleries to the lookout for the famous view over surrounding wetlands. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre with informative displays, then continue to Cooinda to join Kakadu's fabled Yellow Waters Wetland Cruise.

Late afternoon we make our way out of Kakadu National Park, viewing Jabiru Township and pausing for an evening snack (own expense) at the Bark Hut Inn. Arrive Darwin mid evening.

(In the event seasonal conditions prevent access to Ubirr Rock the group will visit other attractions such as Nanguluwur or Nourlangie Rock).
