Kuranda with Scenic Train Guided Tour

The Kuranda mountain railway, completed in June 1891, was constructed entirely by hand and is still considered an engineering feat.
YOUR TOUR INCLUDES :
Outback "Opal Mine". At the beginning of your day see an opal mine replica and gem display and enjoy a morning "cuppa".
Kuranda Village. Plenty of free time to enjoy Kuranda's many attractions.
Kuranda Scenic Train. Stop at Barron Falls Station to see the mighty Barron Gorge and Falls, ride through 15 handhewn tunnels as the train winds its way slowly down the mountain and over the curved Stoney Creek bridge with a beautiful waterfall almost touching you.
All our tours utilise trains from Kuranda down the mountain range, as after a busy day we believe you will appreciate the opportunity to rest your feet and relax in Victorian comfort for just over an hour on a scenic experience.
