The world's only rainforest cableway was completed in September 1994. Take time to enjoy 7.5 kilometres of treetop splendour and see all there is to offer at two stops along the way.
YOUR TOUR INCLUDES :
Outback "Opal Mine". At the beginning of your day see an opal mine replica and gem display and enjoy a morning "cuppa".
Skyrail Cableway. You climb the MacAlister range in a 6 person gondola offering superb views of the Coral Sea and alight at Red Peak Station to stroll on a rainforest boardwalk offering an amazing diversity of plants, animals and birdlife. Then it's time to skim over rainforest wilderness to Kuranda, stopping for views of the Barron Falls and Gorge. A visit to the Rainforest Interpretative Centre is a must.
Kuranda Village. Plenty of free time to enjoy Kuranda's many attractions.
