We will take you by luxury coach or plane, to cruise the Fiord in one of our spacious, modern vessels. With luck you will catch sight of dolphins, seals and rare penguins.

On boarding a Fiordland Travel luxury glass roofed coach in Queenstown visitors are treated to a relaxing trip along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau. After a morning tea break in Te Anau, where visitors have the option of purchasing refreshments, the coach continues along the spectacular Milford Road. There is time for photo stops and short walks along the way. On reaching Milford Sound visitors board a luxury Fiordland Travel vessel for a cruise the full length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. The vessel provides excellent viewing opportunities and plenty of time is available to enjoy the waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife. A comprehensive commentary is presented throughout the cruise. Foreign language guides provide interpretation on board and interesting interpretation handouts are available in eight languages.

Delicious lunch options and complimentary tea and coffee are available on board the vessel.
Return transport to Queenstown is by plane (weather permitting). During the sightseeing flight from Milford Sound visitors are provided with a panoramic view of the fiord, mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes and the lush native rainforests. The fleet of aircraft is operated by Tourism Flightseeing, a partnership between Fiordland Travel Limited and Tourism Holdings Limited.

Dependent upon operational factors, the aircraft returning from Milford may land at Glenorchy or Queenstown. In both cases, clients are transferred by coach directly into Queenstown.
