• Fiordland Travel brings the dramatic beauty of Milford Sound within reach as a day trip from Te Anau or Queenstown. Grand, brooding, serene and wild, Milford Sound draws visitors from all over the globe to cruise its length - and wonder. Luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock walls washed with waterfalls.
We will take you by luxury coach or plane, to cruise the Fiord in one of our spacious, modern vessels. With luck you will catch sight of dolphins, seals and rare penguins.

• Flight between Queenstown or Te Anau and Milford Sound. During the scenic flight visitors are provided with a panoramic view of the fiord, mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes and the lush native rainforests. The fleet of aircraft is operated by Tourism Flightseeing, a partnership between Fiordland Travel Limited and Tourism Holdings Limited.
Dependent on operational factors the aircraft returning from Milford may land at Glenorchy or Queenstown. In either case passengers are transferred by coach directly to Queenstown.

Please Note:
• Flights operate subject to weather. Less weather dependent are the Twin Otters, which under most conditions can fly by Instrument Flying Rules.
