Fiordland Travel brings the dramatic beauty of Milford Sound within reach as a day trip from Te Anau or Queenstown. Grand, brooding, serene and wild, Milford Sound draws visitors from all over the globe to cruise its length - and wonder. Luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock walls washed with waterfalls.
We will take you by luxury coach or plane, to cruise the Fiord in one of our spacious, modern vessels. With luck you will catch sight of dolphins, seals and rare penguins.

A guided day excursion including a walk on the start of the world famous Milford Track.
The walk (8 - 10km) follows the crystal clear Clinton River on a good easy terrain track without big hills. A detour requiring a little more energy is available but certainly not compulsory. Along the way, the friendly and knowledgeable nature guide will answer questions and explain the flora, fauna and history of the area. The walk is unhurried with plenty of time for photography, bird/trout watching and more - even a swim if anyone feels the urge. Lunch is eaten either beside the river or at the Clinton Hut. Excursion not recommended for children under 10 years.
