Grand, brooding, serene and wild, Milford Sound draws visitors from all over the globe to cruise its length - and wonder. Luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock walls washed with waterfalls.
We will take you by luxury coach or plane, to cruise the Fiord in one of our spacious, modern vessels. With luck you will catch sight of dolphins, seals and rare penguins.
• The Milford Wanderer Overnight Cruise offers an exciting and different Dinner, Bed & Breakfast experience.
Departing from the Fiordland Travel wharf, the Milford Wanderer cruises the full length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea. The vessel leisurely explores points of interest and there is plenty of time available to view waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife with the experienced nature guides on board.
• After reaching the open sea, the vessel returns under sail (wind permitting), and anchors overnight in Harrison Cove. A hearty evening meal is provided. Next morning before breakfast there are opportunities to go kayaking or explore on shore in the vessel's Stabi-craft before returning to the Fiordland Travel wharf. Complimentary tea and coffee are available on the vessel. A fully licensed bar in the saloon sells beer, wine and spirits.
