Michaelmas Cay is a protected seabird sanctuary playing host to 27,000 migratory seabirds .... one of the most important nesting sights in the southern hemisphere, an absolute haven for any nature lover.

The Michaelmas Cay Cruise offers a wide range of activities including snorkelling, scuba diving (both certified and first time beginner), semi-submersible coral viewing, coral cay scientific tours, nature walks among a bird sanctuary, live musical entertainment and a glass of champagne on the homeward sail. 9 to 1 passenger to crew ratio ensures a 5 Star Service is delivered to all of our guests.
Itinerary of the Day
8.30 am - Depart Cairns
8.45 am - Safety brief including snorkelling and scuba diving presentation.
9.00 am - Signup for snorkelling tours, semi submersible and scuba diving.
Ensure bookings to avoid disappointment.
10.00 am - Distribution and fitting of snorkelling and diving equipment.
11.00 am - Arrive at Michaelmas Cay.
Fish feeding presentation. Commence morning activities. Shuttle to Beach and return approximately every 20 minutes.
Guided snorkelling and reef interpretation tour with our marine naturalists. Semi submersible tours. First scuba dive.
12.00 pm - Lunch is served. Finished at 1.00 pm - Continuation of afternoon activities. Ferry to Beach. Sunbathing.
Semi Submersible Tours. Snorkelling, diving and relaxing.
2.15 pm - All aboard. Afternoon tea, sign off safety sheet. Depart Michaelmas Cay.
3.00 pm Shop opens.
3.30 pm Live entertainment and enjoy a glass of complimentary champagne.
5.00 pm Arrive in Cairns
