The 20m custom-built catamaran M/V Poseidon, is the perfect vessel to experience the Great Barrier Reef. Limited passenger numbers ensures personal comfort and individual attention. She is surveyed to carry a maximum of 48 passengers and 8 crew, and a cruising speed of 22km.

Our trip caters to snorkellers, introductory or first time divers, and certified divers, who can enjoy up to three quality dives, with guides. We always have a high crew/passenger ratio with plenty of help on hand for inexperienced snorkellers or divers. Wetsuits for snorkellers and underwater cameras can also be hired.

MV POSEIDON III, is an ultra modern 24 meter, high speed luxury catamaran. With a top speed of 30 knots, we offer a faster, more comfortable trip to the Outer Barrier Reef, resulting in more time at each of the THREE SITES visited daily.

Poseidon III features a large air-conditioned main saloon, a spacious top sun deck and wheelhouse salon, and a purpose built rear deck with a lowering transom which makes access to and from the water extremely easy and un-crowded.

Up to the three best Outer reef sites are visited each day, selected from 18 years experience in the local dive industry and according to tidal and weather conditions.

A good buffet lunch and morning and afternoon tea is provided, catered for us by a prominent Port Douglas restaurant. Beer, house wines and soft drinks are carried, and special requirements can be supplied with notice.
