DAY 1 :
Auckland/ Bay of Islands/ Paihia
Travel north to the Bay of Islands. On arrival in the Bay, visit the historic Waitangi Treaty House and grounds, including the audio visual display, a traditional Maori Meeting House and the huge 'waka' (war canoe). Board the ferry from Paihia to historic Russell and enjoy a mini-tour of the area with a local guide. Wander along the cafes and shops of the waterfront before returning to Paihia by ferry. After being transferred to the hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2 :
Cape Reinga Tour
Highlights of the Cape Reinga Tour include the drive along ninety mile beach and the Te Paki Quicksand Stream. At Cape Reinga, visit the lighthouse and enjoy views of the meeting of the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea. See ancient Maori Pa (fort) sites and learn of early pioneer life at Subritsky Homestead. Be welcomed on to the Mangamuka Marae (meeting place) by local Maori people, and gain insight into their heritage, traditions and modern day lives.

DAY 3 :
Bay of Islands Cruise/ Kerikeri and Craft Tour
Board a luxury catamaran for a cruise through game fishing waters to Cape Brett Lighthouse, Motukokako Island and the famous 'Hole in the Rock' and the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave. On the return journey meander through the inner islands. Enjoy an island stopover at Otehei Bay. On returning to Paihia join the Kerikeri and Craft Tour and enjoy the Stone Store, Kemp House, Hongi's Kororipo Pa Site and Rewa's Maori Village. Join the coach for the departure to Auckland.
