With a Rainforest backdrop, the Platypus our most intriguing mammal, will be revealed to you. A spectacular ritual that is cherished by visitors from around the world.

Observe and photograph this living fossil. Hear the billabong come to life with the sounds of laughing Kookaburras - follow the path of the Echidna - and reflect on these moments with Billy Tea by the billabong. Onward from this quiet retreat we visit other remarkable areas of the Atherton Tablelands - The Lakes, where swimming is optional, magical rainforests and country towns, to browse or shop, before returning to Cairns.

What to Bring: Camera, video equipment, hat, jumper, dark coloured clothes and comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and swimming gear.
