7.45am
Your day of adventure starts with coach pick up from your Christchurch inner city accommodation and transfer to the Christchurch Railway Station.

8.15am
Depart Christchurch Railway Station on board the world famous TranzAlpine train. Sit back and relax and enjoy a 2 hour train journey out of the city and across the Canterbury Plains, travel over river gorges and then up into the mountains of New Zealand's Southern Alps.

10.45am
At Arthur's Pass Railway Station deep in the heart of the Southern Alps,
you will be met by one of our guides with specially designed 4x4 coach.
Continue your journey on westward across the Southern Alps descending
down into the Otira Gorge. Stop off at a lock out point over 800 metres above sea level to view the spectacular Otira Viaduct and a chance to meet some Keas, the worlds only alpine parrots. Then travel back through the Arthur's Pass National Park travelling under canopies of native forest to Flock Hill sheep station.

12.00pm
Arrive at a Flock Hill Lodge for a sumptuous lunch in the Garden
Restaurant. Plenty of time here to relax and enjoy the mountain air in these
picturesque high country surroundings, or you may wish to take a walk around the gardens and view the trout in the pond or view day to day farming activities

1.00pm
Reboard the four wheel drive coach and set off on a 20km journey provide exclusive access to this the vast 35,000-acre property of Flock Hill sheep station. Frequent stops are made for photo's and a chance to appreciate the spectacular views of river gorges, rugged high country and the jagged peaks of New Zealand's Southern Alps. Learn about the colorful local history and farming practices of this remote and
insolated area. Your journey takes you along part of the original stage coach road, hand built by the early pioneers of New Zealand, to gain access to the Gold Fields on the West Coast of the South Island. On the final stage of 4x4 journey descend several hundred down into the
Waimakariri River Gorge.

3.00pm
Its now time to board your next mode of transport our large Hamilton jet boat. Step aboard and you're off on a 15km scenic river cruise down stream through the spectacular Waimakariri Gorge stopping off at historic river locations and secluded fishing pools before arriving at
Woodstock sheep station.

3.30pm
Arrive at our secluded river side lodge over looking the river for afternoon tea.

4.00pm
The final stage of your adventure takes you a short distance along a private access road built by Bill Hamilton the inventor of the jet boat through the 10,000 acre Woodstock sheep station. Then through the Oxford area and out across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Christchurch City.

5.00pm Arrive at your Christchurch City accommodation.
