The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef system, with diverse life forms, including over 400 species of hard and soft corals, over 4000 species of mollusc (sea shells) and over 1500 species of fish. Boarding from 17:00, for an 20:00 departure.

•Dive the Ribbon Reefs and Pixie Pinnacle. Two incredible days of diving at Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea, 1000m (3000ft) vertical walls and 40m (120ft) visibility. The North Horn has the most reliable sharks in Australia including grey whalers, white and silver tips and schooling scalloped hammerheads (July). Schools of Barracuda and large dog tooth tuna are always nearby. Night drivers may expect to see rare flashlight fish as they swim in and out of crevasses.

•Dive the world famous Cod Hole with the resident potato cod, moray eels, giant wrasse and sweetlips. Explore Lizard Island, hike to Captain Cooks lookout or laze on the beach. evening BBQ ashore.

•A further 2 days of diving the Ribbon and Parch reefs before disembarking in Port Douglas at 1700.
