Drive South from Cairns to Kurrimine Beach. At the beach your guide gives instruction on paddling techniques and safety aspects before we take on the first leg of our trip which will see us paddling for approximately 3 hours. Sea Eagles and Nankeen Kestrels ride the thermals overhead, whilst below the sea surface the waters team with life. This afternoon there is time to swim, snorkel, relax or explore the island with it's astounding rock formations formed by thousands of years of water and wind activity. Energetic paddlers may circumnavigate close by Sisters Island which is usually crowded with birdlife. Tonight we will camp on the beach of an uninhabited island. (Lunch, Dinner)
Overnight: Tropical Island Camp - 2 nights

Day 2: Barnard Islands

After a hearty breakfast paddle approximately 2 hours to the Northern Barnard group of islands. Dolphins and turtles inhabit these waters and we may be lucky enough to see them before having lunch on a tropical island. Also from July through to September there is a chance of sighting Humpback Whales and snorkelling with Mantaray's. Take a bushwalk through the evergreen rainforests, or relax on the beach and for the more energetic there is more paddling and snorkelling available in the afternoon, before settling into camp for the sumptuous evening meal. Day 3: Barnard Islands - Cairns

A leisurely start before commencing the 3 hour paddle back to the mainland. Enroute we pass close to nearby islands before arriving at Cowley Beach. Late afternoon arrival in Cairns. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
