One of the most unforgettable experiences in the world, Three Islands Marine offers you the chance to swim with the Whalesharks.

The world's largest fish, these awe inspiring creatures frequent the Ningaloo Reef from April through to July. Coming close to the surface, anyone can snorkel with these giants of the deep, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

The best way to see the Whalesharks is aboard the 'Takashi'. This 15 metre Pro Dive Boat offers you speed, comfort and Exmouth's most experienced crew.

Spotter planes and rescue vessels are included in the tour.

Your Whale Shark Snorkelling Adventure begins when we pick you up from your accommodation at 07.30-08.00am. Once on our air-conditioned coach, you will be transported to Tantabiddi where you will board our 15m dive vessel, Takashi. During the 45 minute coach trip through the Cape Range National Park, keep an eye out for some of the local fauna, such as kangaroos, emus, eagles and goannas.

Once on board Takashi, as we start cruising to the first snorkelling (or scuba diving) destination, we will brief you on the day's activities, safety procedure and protocol of swimming with the Whale Sharks. You will also be fitted with your snorkelling gear, which you can test at our first dive spot where you can see endless beautiful corals. There are also a myriad of tropical fish to see, including Clown Fish, Clark's Amenones, Angel Fish, Parrot Fish, Spangled Emperor, Groper and many more.

We then cruise to the outer reef, to start the search for the Whale Sharks. This process is made easier by the use of spotter planes that radio Whale Shark positions to us, so that we can easily locate them. The remainder of our day is made up of locating Whale Sharks and snorkelling with them, cruising the reef looking for turtles, dolphins, dugongs, manta rays and other creatures of the deep, as well as discovering the coral wonders abundant with diverse marine life.

A delicious lunch and refreshments are also included for your enjoyment. The day's schedule can vary depending on when our friends of the deep decide they would like to swim with us. At Three Islands Marine we have an excellent record of interaction with Whale Sharks.
